What is ESTHER?

ESTHER is a provider of technology and financial services to enable the quick, safe and traceable distribution of financial aid from organizations to vetted recipients.

Working with ESTHER, Local Government and Foundations create bespoke fund distribution programs. Using a unique ESTHER pre-paid account, all funds are traceable, with appropriate approval and automated auditing tools.

The platform allows collaborative communications between stakeholders to facilitate ongoing recovery strategies.

Secure and flexible registration

ESTHER’s flexible onboarding tools allow you to register and verify people in crisis quickly and efficiently, based on the need.

Bulk register at scale in large emergency situations, allow self-registration via an online portal or provide caseworker led registration. ID verification or further documentation can be added if required.

ESTHER Prepaid Accounts

Once a recipient is registered, ESTHER connects a pre-paid card to that account. Cards can either be held in bulk at a central location before a disaster happens and then distributed quickly. Or they can be issued directly to the recipient for longer term recovery.

Fraud prevention mechanisms and merchant code restrictions are in place to ensure funds are traceable and protected for essential goods.

Reporting

We specialise in distributing funds at scale quickly and securely with precise impact reporting. With recipients first in mind, cards can be delivered quickly to get crisis aid into the hands of people who need it.

Broad spend data can be collected to help inform further recovery strategies for future crisis situations, whilst protecting the dignity and privacy of recipients.
